About Peter Sandhaus

Portrait of the artist Peter Sandhaus. With a dynamic twirl effect.

Peter Sandhaus was never limited to a single genre, topic, or style. Beginning as an architect in the 1990s, he ventured into diverse fields such as computer generated art, sculptural architecture, stage design, and production design for television shows, among others.

Today, he may be best known for his large-scale public art installations. He has won numerous competitions and prizes in the field of public art. And he has realized some massive public art pieces in Germany.

Meanwhile, his paintings and computational drawings have grown in popularity over the last decade.

While he never believed in the value of doing the same thing over and over just to be more easily recognized, he did concentrate his efforts on a few tropes.

The various artistic intentions and inspirations for each of his projects and series are noted in some detail along the pieces shown here on Studio.Sandhaus.
